The BubbleDeck® system allows for complete architectural freedom
The slab can follow any shape. Combined with large spans and cantilevers, this optimizes architects design freedom, pushing boundaries even further. The flexibility also enhances future changes. Due to the slabs biaxial behaviour, it allows for changes such as adding additional openings and staircases. The flexibility also enhances future alteration of use.
BIAXIAL & SLIM
The BubbleDeck® system is a light, biaxial, flat slab technology
LIGHT: The hollow spheres incorporated in the slab reduce the deadweight by up to 35% compared to a solid slab with the same bearing capacity. This weight reduction allows for further reductions in the building structure, through the reduction in the no of columns and bearing walls. The reduction in deadweight results in savings in the foundation.
NO BEAMS: Due to its biaxiality, no down stand beams are needed. The result is a completely flat soffit. A slim structure is obtained, resulting in an overall reduced building height.
OPEN & LIGHT: The flat soffit with no obstructing beams, combined with a reduced number of columns and or bearing walls, creates an open and flexible space, with maximum usability.
LARGE SPAN
Due to its lightness and biaxiality, BubbleDeck® can achieve extraordinary spans - not only in one, but in all directions, without beams. As a rule, a BubbleDeck® slab can span 20 to 40 times the deck thickness. With the integration of PT cables, which fit easily in the slab, spans of 50 times the deck thickness is possible.

LONG CANTILEVERS
With the BubbleDeck® system, the completely open facade is possible with long cantilevers. Length of cantilevers of approximately 10 times the deck thickness gives the architect a tool for optimizing both light and interior design.
